About Me

Children, teenagers, families, and adults navigating some of life’s hardest moments are exactly who Tara Moser built her practice to serve. Based in Cape Coral, Florida, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with people across a wide range of concerns — from trauma, abuse recovery, and crisis intervention to anxiety, eating disorders, chronic illness, and the everyday weight of family conflict. Sessions are available in person and online.

Tara’s approach is hands-on and decidedly informal. She works alongside clients rather than directing them, drawing on play, art, sand, and animal-assisted methods to create an environment where people of all ages can engage on their own terms. The office reflects that spirit: comfortable, unhurried, and populated by certified therapy dogs. She sees children as young as two and leads a team she has personally assembled to extend care across the lifespan.

Her investment in the field runs deep — she supervises and mentors emerging therapists, contributes to professional organizations at the local and state level, and founded Pawsitive Kids Camp, a nonprofit pairing children with foster dogs during school breaks. Tara has also authored a children’s book and numerous professional articles.
