Tyler Sparks

Tyler Sparks brings both warmth and directness to his counseling work — a combination he sees as essential when people are sitting with real pain. A Licensed Professional Counselor based in the St. Louis area, Tyler holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and draws on an integration of psychology and theological insight that shapes how he understands people and their struggles.

Men navigating sexual addiction, couples working through sexual difficulties, and individuals carrying the weight of anger are at the heart of what Tyler does — though his practice extends across individual counseling, marriage and family therapy, group work, career development, and support for abuse survivors. He also works with teenagers and young adults, and he recognizes that for many of them, the pull of a phone or a feed is woven into the very anxieties and relational tensions they bring into the room.

Tyler is a National Certified Counselor and a member of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies. Outside the office he can usually be found on a soccer field or baseball diamond with his four kids, cooking, watching movies, or making time for the friendships he values. He offers online sessions in addition to in-person work.
