Heather Cobb

Healing happens when someone finally feels less alone in it.

About Me

What clients carry out of sessions with Heather Cobb is a sense that someone walked the hard road with them — not ahead, not behind, but genuinely alongside. Her work is rooted in faith in Jesus Christ, and that foundation shapes the warmth and steadiness she brings to people navigating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, codependency, identity questions, and the particular weight of loving a spouse through sexual addiction.

Heather holds a master’s degree in clinical counseling from Eastern University and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a Certified Grief Specialist, and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. She draws on EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and progressive counting — methods she chose because of how well they work, especially with trauma. Teens wrestling with who they are while managing pressure from every direction — school, family, and the noise that follows them from their phones into their bedrooms — find in her someone who understands that world and knows how to help them move through it.

Her practice spans children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, across settings that have included schools, churches, community organizations, and private practice. A long marriage, four children, and years as a foster parent alongside her husband give her lived fluency in the family dynamics her clients bring through the door. She sees people in person and online.
