Walking into a first session with Lorena House, clients often find something they didn’t expect: room to breathe. Working out of Mason, Ohio, Lorena creates an environment where honesty feels possible and the pace of healing belongs to the person doing the work. Her practice, Empowered Healing, is built on the conviction that lasting change reaches across mind, body, and spirit together — not as a philosophy slogan, but as the organizing principle behind every clinical decision she makes.
Lorena holds an LPCC and works with a wide range of people — children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly — facing challenges that include trauma and abuse recovery, anxiety, mood and depressive disorders, addiction, eating disorders, and workplace burnout. Her therapeutic toolkit draws from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and somatic approaches, allowing her to tailor care to what each individual actually needs rather than fitting clients into a single method.
Online sessions are available, making her integrative, client-centered approach accessible beyond the Mason area. Whether someone arrives carrying the weight of long-held trauma or is simply ready to understand themselves better, Lorena meets them where they are and stays engaged for the distance.
