Nazanin Zarei holds that real change begins not at the surface of our thoughts, but in the emotional undercurrents that quietly shape our choices and relationships. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in North Vancouver, she draws on a decade of experience to help clients move from feeling stuck to finding a more grounded sense of themselves — whether they’re contending with anxiety that lingers long after the workday ends, relational patterns passed down through family, or the weight of experiences that never quite got processed.
She works with teenagers, adults, couples, and families navigating a wide range of difficulties: depression, eating disorders, burnout, family conflict, trauma from abuse, and the particular strain that builds when a marriage or partnership loses its footing. For some clients, that strain now arrives in quieter forms — the 2 a.m. phone spiral, the work message that can’t wait, the creeping sense that rest is never quite earned.
Nazanin integrates Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Jungian depth psychoanalysis, attachment-based approaches, and art therapy — offering a richly layered process rather than a single technique. Virtual sessions are available to clients across British Columbia.
