Alicia Stalker

Every person carries the capacity to heal — relationships show the way.

About Me

Couples caught in recurring conflicts, teenagers withdrawing from the people who love them, adults wrestling with anxiety or grief or the pull of a gambling habit — these are the people Alicia Stalker built her practice around. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Morris, Illinois, she works with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of concerns, bringing the same conviction to each: that people are capable of growth, and that relationships are central to how that growth happens.

Her therapeutic toolkit draws on Gottman Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy — and for clients whose compulsive phone-checking or late-night scrolling has quietly hollowed out their sleep and their relationships, CBT offers concrete tools for rebuilding the offline routines that steady daily life. She is also a Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), certified through NAADAC to evaluate employees who have violated DOT drug and alcohol regulations and guide their return-to-duty process.

Alicia holds a BS from Northern Illinois University and an MA from Antioch University Los Angeles, and carries additional specialized training in trauma, prolonged exposure therapy for PTSD, and problem gambling treatment. She accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and UMR, and offers both in-person and online sessions.
