When clients finish working with Amanda Vaught, they often describe getting themselves back — sleeping again, trusting again, feeling present with the people they love. A licensed clinical psychologist based in Radnor, Pennsylvania, Amanda has spent over a decade focused on one thing: helping people move through trauma and genuinely reclaim their lives, not just manage the symptoms.
She works with individuals, couples, and families navigating the aftereffects of trauma and PTSD — including anxiety, depression, emotional numbness, relationship ruptures, and complex grief — drawing on evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, and DBT, among others. Teenagers struggling to hold themselves together while scrolling through everyone else’s highlight reel, adults who go numb in the middle of ordinary moments, partners who have stopped reaching for each other — these are the people Amanda meets where they are. She is also a national consultant to other clinicians in CPT and PE trauma therapy.
Her approach is collaborative from the start: she gets to know a client’s story, their particular way of seeing themselves and the world, and together they choose the treatment path that fits. Amanda holds a doctorate from the PAU–Stanford PsyD Consortium and offers telehealth sessions across PSYPACT-participating states.
