Angela Herd

Reconnect with yourself through nature, creativity, and being truly heard.

About Me

From a five-acre property in Osoyoos, Angela Herd has built a practice around the idea that healing happens when people feel genuinely held — not managed. Her work draws on a wide range of evidence-based and experiential methods, including CBT, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Art Therapy, Sand and Play Therapy, and Nature Therapy, weaving them together to meet each person where they are rather than fitting them into a single framework.

Angela works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating everything from anxiety and mood disorders to abuse recovery, addiction, career transitions, and the particular exhaustion of a job that never quite switches off — the email that arrives at 10 p.m., the inability to leave work at work. She also provides group counselling, mediation, clinical supervision, and Employee Assistance services, and offers online sessions for those who cannot attend in person.

What she describes caring about most is the moment a client claims something for themselves: a child who can finally name what they feel, a couple who rediscovers warmth, an adult who hears their own voice and trusts it. Sessions are available in person and online.
