Adults navigating the weight of trauma, burnout, grief, or crisis are at the heart of Colette Pelletier’s practice. A Registered Psychologist based in Regina with 24 years of clinical experience, she works with individuals aged 18 and older โ including those managing the quiet exhaustion that builds when work, family, and the relentless pull of notifications leave little room to breathe. Her background spans the Saskatchewan Health Authority, where she worked in acquired brain injury outreach and bariatric assessment, as well as private practice, where she now focuses her attention.
Colette holds a Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in counselling psychology. Her doctoral research examined trauma and resilience among paramedics, and that focus on whole-person healing shapes everything she offers. She is trained in EMDR, the Flash technique, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Experiencing โ approaches she draws on individually or in combination depending on what each person needs. She is also a certified yoga instructor and has taught mindfulness through the University of Regina’s Lifelong Learning Centre.
Her orientation is client-centred: treatment goals are built collaboratively, and her role is to provide a space where people feel genuinely heard. She holds that healing engages the mind, body, and spirit together โ and she is consistently moved by the strength people carry into that process.
