Craig Springer’s clinical work is rooted in a clear conviction: that meaningful change is possible when people have the right structure and support behind them. A licensed clinical psychologist based in Short Hills, New Jersey, he works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, and the particular pressures that come with high achievement and burnout.
His approach is warm and collaborative without being vague. Springer draws on cognitive-behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based methods to help clients build genuine insight and lasting coping skills. Progress is tracked with structured tools so that goals stay visible and the work stays honest. Sessions are available both in person in northern New Jersey and online for clients across New York, New Jersey, and PSYPACT-participating states.
He does not work with insurance panels directly, but provides detailed superbills to support out-of-network reimbursement. A complimentary 15-minute consultation is offered to new clients considering whether his practice is a good fit.
