Walking into a first session with Holly Raymond, most people feel the quiet relief of being heard without judgment — then the quiet surprise of being gently challenged. Holly is a Registered Social Worker based in Burlington, Ontario, with 13 years of private practice and over two decades in some of Canada’s most demanding clinical environments. She works with children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families navigating everything from substance use and trauma to grief, self-esteem, relationship breakdown, and the slow accumulation of stress that eventually becomes a crisis.
Her career took shape at institutions including St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, CAMH, and McMaster University, where she led addiction and mental health services at a supervisory and directorial level — including helping launch Canada’s first fully integrated inpatient Concurrent Disorder program. That background means she brings clinical depth to issues that many practitioners refer out: co-occurring diagnoses, compulsive patterns that migrate from substances to screens and gambling, severe emotional dysregulation, and complex trauma.
Holly holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Regina. She offers sessions online and at her Burlington location, working in English with adults, young people, and families ready to move through what has them stuck.
