Many of the people who find Jennifer Scott are carrying something they can’t quite name β a heaviness that blunts sleep, erodes relationships, or surfaces as anxiety that won’t settle. Others arrive knowing exactly what’s wrong: trauma, grief, addiction, a marriage under strain, a career that has stopped making sense. What they share is the sense that something between who they are and who they want to be has closed off. Jennifer works with that gap.
A Registered Clinical Counsellor with 25 years of clinical experience, Jennifer combines cognitive talk therapy with body-oriented approaches β a pairing she finds more effective than conversation alone, because healing that stays in the body rarely resolves through words by themselves. She works with adults, teenagers, seniors, and couples across a wide range of concerns, including depression, trauma and PTSD, personality disorders, addictions, sleep disturbance, abuse recovery, grief, and workplace burnout. For clients whose minds have grown so habituated to constant input that genuine rest no longer feels possible, the body’s inability to downshift is often where the clinical work begins.
Jennifer’s approach is collaborative and paced to the individual. Her aim is to help clients surface their own resources β not to be directed toward a predetermined outcome, but to move toward wholeness on terms that are genuinely their own.
