Joyce Clarke holds a quiet conviction that most people already carry what they need to move through hard seasons — they just need the right conditions to access it. A Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Kamloops, British Columbia, Joyce brings that belief into every session, offering steady, non-judgmental support to individuals, couples, and families navigating the kind of pain that doesn’t resolve on its own.
She works with teenagers and adults across a wide range of concerns: relationship conflict and breakdown, the aftermath of infidelity, communication that has stopped working, family tension, anger, anxiety, grief, and the particular weight that builds when caregiving or abuse has worn a person down. For many of her clients, that anxiety doesn’t clock out — it follows them through their phones, surfacing in the small hours when the screen is the only light in the room.
Joyce holds a Master’s degree from Washington State University and is trained in Gottman Couples Therapy through all three levels, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Family Systems, and trauma-informed approaches through the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children. She offers flexible appointment times, including evenings and Saturdays, and sees clients both in person in Kamloops and online.
