Kathlyn White

Faith-grounded, clinically rooted care for the whole person.

About Me

Walking into Kathlyn White’s practice, clients often find something unexpected: permission to be exactly where they are. Kathlyn is an LMFT based in Niceville, Florida, who brings a faith-centered, whole-person perspective to her work — and sometimes a therapy dog named TallyHo to help ease the way in. Her approach is multifaceted by design, drawing on clinical rigor and genuine warmth to help individuals and families move through what has brought them to her door.

Her reach is broad and intentional. Kathlyn works with children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly — supporting people through addiction, abuse recovery, mood and personality disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, career transitions, and the particular weight that military life can carry. As a veteran and military spouse herself, she has a deep, personal commitment to serving service members and their families, including those navigating combat PTSD and trauma from sexual abuse.

Kathlyn has been practicing since 1991, holds graduate training from Florida State’s School of Social Work, and is a Florida-certified Qualified Supervisor for LMHC and LMFT interns. She uses the Gottman Method in her marriage work and offers online sessions for clients who need flexibility. Her goal, in every context, is lasting change — not just relief.
