Something feels broken — a relationship strained past its limits, a pattern of behaviour that keeps pulling someone under, or a quiet, persistent sense that life has gone sideways. Kim Watt, a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Langley, BC, works with adults who are caught in exactly these moments. Her practice centres on the places where relationships fracture: infidelity and betrayal, addiction and its fallout, painful family histories, and the emotional weight of depression, anxiety, and burnout that so often travels alongside them.
Kim helps men and women — individually or with a partner — untangle what went wrong and find steadier ground. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and grounds her work in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), two evidence-based approaches she weaves together to address trauma, attachment, and the relational patterns people carry. She is also completing CSAT and CCBRT candidacy through IITAP, giving her specialized footing with sexual addiction and couples recovering from betrayal. When a couple’s hardest conversations happen over text rather than face to face, that distance itself becomes part of what they work through together.
Kim offers a free 15-minute initial consultation and sees clients via video and phone, welcoming anyone ready to take an honest look at where they are and where they want to go.
