Marina Benkhina

Clear patterns, better tools, less pain carrying forward.

About Me

After earning her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and completing specialized EMDR training, Marina Benkhina built a practice rooted in the belief that real change comes from understanding yourself more clearly — and then doing something with that understanding. Based in Campbell, California, she works with individuals, couples, and families who are ready to move through anxiety, depression, trauma, and the relational friction that accumulates over time. Whether a parent is trying to stay connected to a teenager who seems to live entirely on a phone, or a couple is finding that they communicate better with their devices than with each other, Marina meets people where their actual lives are.

Her approach draws on existential-humanistic therapy, mindfulness, CBT, and EMDR — a combination that helps clients identify the patterns holding them back, process what’s been painful, and develop concrete tools for navigating emotions and conflict. Couples work with Marina on communication, intimacy, infidelity, coparenting, and the ordinary strains of shared life. Individuals bring her burnout, career transitions, chronic illness, grief, and the weight of long-carried trauma.

Marina offers both in-person sessions at her Campbell office near Highways 17 and 280 and online sessions. She accepts some insurance, offers a sliding scale, and provides a free 15-minute consultation to start.
