Two decades of clinical work have shaped Patricia Temple into a practitioner who understands, in precise and practical terms, how people get stuck β and what it actually takes to move forward. Based in West Sacramento, she holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and has built her training over the years through extensive specialty work in trauma-informed care, couples therapy, and behavioral and emotional support for children.
Patricia works with individuals, couples, families, and groups across a wide span of life circumstances β from children navigating developmental challenges and teens managing anxiety or mood disorders, to adults recovering from abuse or addiction, to families working through divorce, conflict, or the demands of elder care. Her clinical scope includes DSM-V diagnosis and treatment, crisis intervention, mediation, and group facilitation.
What anchors her approach is a conviction that even heavy, long-standing struggles can become the starting point for something different. Clients who work with Patricia often find that the process restores something they had stopped expecting: a genuine belief that change is possible, and that it belongs to them. She offers sessions online as well as serving Yolo and Sacramento Counties.
