Patricia Thompson brings a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and years of frontline clinical work across community settings, hospitals, and government services to her practice as a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in Toronto, Ontario. That breadth of experience shapes how she works: attentive to what’s driving a problem, not just how it’s showing up on the surface.
She supports teenagers, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, trauma, workplace stress, and the aftermath of abuse β helping people move from feeling stuck to defining and reaching their own version of success. For some clients that includes the quiet ache of feeling unseen despite being reachable by everyone, all the time β scrolling through contact yet rarely feeling genuinely known. Patricia works through individual, couples, group, and family formats, and offers online sessions.
Her approach centres on getting to the root of what’s causing pain rather than managing symptoms alone. The skills clients build in the process β self-awareness, healthier thinking patterns, more effective responses to difficulty β stay with them long after the presenting problem is resolved. Patricia is a member in good standing with both the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and OACCPP.
