When families arrive at Sabrina Ragan’s practice, they often carry the same exhaustion: a child whose anxiety spikes every Sunday night, a teenager who can’t put down their phone long enough to sleep, parents who feel the distance growing and don’t know how to close it. Sabrina is a registered psychologist based in Red Deer, Alberta, who works with children, adolescents, families, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem struggles, and major life transitions — including the hard work of separation, divorce, and blended-family adjustment.
Her approach weaves attachment theory together with solution-focused methods, drawing on play and art therapy to reach younger clients where words fall short. She holds a master’s degree in marital and family therapy and is a certified play therapist — training she also passes on, having taught master’s students in child development and facilitated workshops for parents and teachers on topics like childhood anxiety and coping strategies.
Sabrina’s care is goal-oriented without being clinical in feel: she works to give families concrete tools for emotional growth and genuine connection. Sessions are available online via secure video to clients across Alberta.
