Jairo Suarez

Jairo Suarez believes that being truly heard is where healing begins. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate practicing out of Katy, Texas, he brings a philosophy rooted in genuine connection — meeting clients where they are rather than where they think they should be. His own experience navigating life as an immigrant has deepened his awareness of what it feels like to be on the outside looking in, and that awareness shapes how he shows up for every person he works with.

Jairo works with children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families facing anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, trauma, and the particular weight of professional burnout. He draws on training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and he integrates faith and spirituality for clients who find meaning in that dimension of their lives.

Reaching out to a stranger about life’s hardest moments takes real courage, and Jairo takes that seriously. He offers sessions in both English and Spanish, and is available for online appointments throughout the week, including evenings and Saturdays.
