When people reach out to Leslie Fleming, they are usually at a threshold β carrying something that feels too large to hold alone, whether that is the aftermath of trauma, a fracturing relationship, a body in chronic pain, or the hollow ache of scrolling through a hundred messages and still feeling utterly unseen. Leslie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Edmonds, Washington, who works with teenagers, adults, couples, and families navigating abuse recovery, mood and anxiety disorders, grief, and life transitions.
Her practice draws together psychotherapy, shamanic healing, and somatic wisdom into a single, coherent way of working. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, she helps clients reconnect with the body’s own knowing β the felt sense of what is true, what has been silenced, and what is ready to move. This includes honoring whatever guides a person already carries: spiritual, ancestral, relational, or natural. Her training spans crisis intervention, trauma, and nearly three decades of ceremonial and somatic work with mentors including Sandy D’Entremont and The Last Mask Center.
Leslie holds an MA in Psychology with a Specialization in Systems Counseling and offers online sessions. Her work, at its core, is about activating what she calls the medicine already inside each person β and helping them learn to trust it.
