Michele Catalano believes that real change begins with commitment — and that nobody should have to make that commitment alone. A Canadian Certified Counsellor based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Michele approaches her work from the conviction that compassion, respect, and authenticity are what make growth possible. She meets each person where they are, rather than fitting them into a predetermined model, recognizing that the same circumstances can affect two people in entirely different ways.
Michele works with teenagers, adults, couples, and families navigating a wide range of challenges — from anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma to addiction, abuse recovery, workplace burnout, and relationship conflict. When family tension gets tangled up in things like arguments that escalate over text threads or evenings where everyone is present but somehow unreachable, she helps clients slow down, look honestly at what is happening, and figure out what they actually want to change.
The first session is a conversation, not an assessment. Michele listens to each person’s story, and together they build goals and a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs and personality. She considers it a privilege to accompany people through that process — however long it takes, and wherever it leads.
