Claire Vines approaches every clinical relationship with a conviction that healing is not one-size-fits-all β that the path forward for each person is shaped by the specificity of their history, their attachments, and the particular ways they’ve learned to survive. Working from psychodynamic and psychoanalytic foundations, and drawing on specialized trauma-focused methods, she brings both rigor and attunement to the work of recovery. She is a Board-Certified PTSD Clinician and holds dual licensure as a psychologist and marriage and family therapist, practicing in Rancho Mirage, California, with telehealth available for remote clients.
Her practice spans a wide range of presenting concerns β among them trauma and abuse recovery, mood and anxiety disorders, substance and dual-diagnosis issues, personality and dissociative disorders, and the particular pressures of career transition and professional burnout. She works with teenagers, young adults, men, and women, in individual, couples, family, and mediation contexts, and also provides psychological testing, assessment, and DSM-5 diagnosis and treatment. For clients who find themselves losing hours to distraction and compulsive scrolling β then struggling to return to the focused, purposeful work their life actually requires β she offers grounded, evidence-informed strategies for rebuilding concentration and follow-through.
Sessions are available in English, French, and Spanish, in person or via telehealth.
