Eddie Reece brings nearly thirty years of counseling experience to some of life’s hardest moments, guided by a belief that warmth, humor, and honesty can open doors that more clinical approaches sometimes close. An LPC based in Alpharetta, Georgia, he holds a Master’s Degree from Georgia State University and has worked across a wide range of settings — juvenile court, county mental health, drug and alcohol recovery, and inpatient psychiatric care — before establishing his private practice.
Eddie works with teenagers, adults, couples, families, and groups navigating challenges that include addiction, abuse recovery, anxiety, mood disorders, and career transitions, among many others. His style is deliberately grounded and conversational, rooted in a genuine love of teaching and a curiosity about how people come to see the world differently.
A member of the American Academy of Psychotherapists and the Psychotherapy Guild, Eddie has served on the board of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia and the Southern Regional Committee of AAP, and has taught graduate-level counseling at Argosy University. He offers both in-person and online sessions, and shares ongoing reflections through his blog at GettingAlong.net.
