Jack Lewis

You have more room to move than you think.

About Me

Whether someone is sitting across from Jack Lewis for the first time or returning after years away, what they find is the same: a psychologist who believes that every person carries more capacity for change than they currently see in themselves. Jack works with teenagers and young adults, men, women, and older adults navigating struggles that range from anxiety and depression to relationship conflict, addiction, and the aftermath of abuse.

His approach is quiet but direct. Rather than pushing clients toward a predetermined outcome, he helps them notice where their own perceptions and beliefs may be narrowing their options — and then gently widens that aperture. Couples often arrive carrying resentments that began as a skipped dinner conversation, one partner absorbed in a phone while the other stopped trying to reach them; Jack takes that kind of concrete, everyday friction seriously as a starting point for real change. He draws on a broad clinical toolkit — individual counselling, family and couples work, mediation, coaching, and formal assessment — applying each with care for what the particular person in the room actually needs.

Registered as a psychologist in Alberta and available for online sessions, Jack practices out of St. Albert with a focus that is both plainly practical and genuinely compassionate: helping people see that circumstances can shift, and that they have more say in that shift than they realized.
