My name is Kelly. I’ve spent the past eleven years working as a Clinical Social Worker, with five years before that in the broader human services field. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, with a concentration in Mental Health and Health.
My approach is anti-oppressive and client-centred, which means I take seriously the social and structural factors that shape people’s lives — and I follow your lead on what matters most in our work together. I’m trained in CBT, DBT, and Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, and I draw on additional modalities as the work calls for them.
I offer in-person sessions as well as phone and video, all conducted through secure, encrypted, PIPEDA-compliant platforms. I’m available during weekdays across a range of morning, afternoon, and evening slots.
One important note: I am licensed to work only with clients who are physically located in Nova Scotia at the time of our sessions.
