With a foundation built on evidence-based practice, Kellye Woods brings both rigour and genuine warmth to her work as a Registered Social Worker offering psychotherapy and counselling in Nepean, Ontario. Her clinical toolkit draws from some of the most well-researched approaches available β EMDR, CBT, MBCT, ACT, and CPT β and she applies them with care to fit each person’s circumstances rather than following a one-size-fits-all script.
Kellye works with teenagers, young adults, men, women, and older adults navigating a wide range of challenges: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, sleep difficulties, workplace burnout, family conflict, and the aftermath of abuse. Many of the people she sees carry stress that doesn’t clock out when the workday ends β the kind that surfaces in racing thoughts at midnight, or in the low hum of dread that a phone notification can trigger at any hour.
Central to her approach is the belief that the brain has a natural capacity for healing when given the right conditions. Whether she is helping someone process a painful past, build healthier thinking patterns, or reconnect with their values, Kellye’s aim is to offer a clear and honest vision for change β one that moves clients toward a life that feels more balanced and genuinely their own.
