About Me

Life has a way of piling things on — anxiety, pressure at work or school, relationship friction, a low-grade sense of being overwhelmed that you can’t quite shake. I work with people navigating exactly those kinds of experiences, and my role is to make sure that whatever you bring into the room is met with care, not evaluation.

My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, person-centred principles. What that means in practice is that I put real weight on the therapeutic relationship: trust, honesty, and a genuine sense of being understood. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, choosing what fits the person in front of me rather than applying a single formula.

I also believe therapy doesn’t have to be relentlessly heavy. I bring warmth and occasional humour into sessions — not to deflect from difficulty, but because ease and connection are part of what makes the difficult work possible. You’re welcome to show up exactly as you are on any given day. That’s the whole point.
