Sarah Jenkinson

Healing unfolds when you feel understood, not fixed.

About Me

For Sarah Jenkinson, healing begins with relationship — the kind where a person feels genuinely understood rather than assessed or managed. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor with twenty years of experience in Victoria, British Columbia, she works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, grief, life transitions, and the emotional weight of caregiving and chronic illness. She has a particular appreciation for highly sensitive individuals, recognizing the distinct strengths and pressures that come with experiencing the world more intensely.

Sarah’s approach is warm, client-centred, and paced to fit each person’s needs. She draws on evidence-based methods while adapting them thoughtfully, creating space for curiosity and honesty without pressure or judgment. For clients whose work follows them everywhere — the late-night message that can’t go unanswered, the inability to step away without guilt — she understands how that erosion of boundaries shows up in the body and in relationships, and addresses it as part of the whole picture.

Sessions are available in person, by telephone, and online, with Saturday appointments offered alongside a complimentary twenty-minute consultation. Therapy with Sarah doesn’t require having answers in advance — only a willingness to begin.
