Bonnie Luft

Healing begins where the mind and body meet in honesty.

About Me

Reconnection is at the heart of Bonnie Luft’s work — reconnection with oneself, with a partner, and within a family. Bonnie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and doctoral candidate in Behavioral Health Integrated Care based in Ridgefield, Connecticut, who works with individuals, couples, teens, and families navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship strain, and the particular pressures that come with ADHD or autism spectrum diagnoses in a partnership.

Her practice gives special attention to Highly Sensitive Individuals, helping them build steadiness and restoration in daily life. Bonnie’s therapeutic style is warm and unhurried, creating conditions where clients feel genuinely heard before new skills are introduced. She takes a somatic and holistic view of healing, working with the mind-body relationship to help regulate a sensitive nervous system — bringing relief from anxiety and chronic stress from the inside out.

Bonnie holds two master’s degrees, in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and in Education, and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Motivational Interviewing. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher and an advocate for survivors of domestic violence. Online sessions are available.
