Cailin Thomas

About Me

I’m Cailin (she/her), a counselling practicum student offering low-cost therapy as part of my clinical training. I hold a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience, a Bachelor of Education, and I’m currently completing my Masters in Counselling Psychology. That combination has given me a particular appreciation for how our minds, nervous systems, and environments shape the way we experience — and respond to — the world around us.

I’ve worked with teens, young adults, parents, and individuals navigating significant life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, drawing on evidence-based practices that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and sustainable change over time.

I have experience working with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, substance use, and neurodivergence. I’m also interested in women’s health, and in helping people rebuild confidence and genuine self-trust — including finding steadier ground amid the constant demands and digital noise that characterise so many people’s daily lives.

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard and respected, and where we can work together without rush or judgment. If you’d like to connect, please reach out.
