About Me

There’s a particular kind of weight that builds when you’ve been managing everything on your own for a long time. On the surface things might look fine — you’re getting through the days — but underneath you’re exhausted, you’re questioning yourself, and you’re not sure how to make any of it actually change.

I work with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, neurodivergence, and questions of self-worth. I also support parents raising children with exceptional needs, who often carry their own unacknowledged stress.

My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative. I draw from DBT, EMDR, EFT, CBT, and solution-focused methods, and I adapt these to what fits you specifically — your history, your goals, your life. The pace is yours to set. We don’t rush past what needs attention, and we don’t stay stuck in it longer than is useful.

A lot of people put off therapy for financial reasons, or tell themselves they’re not struggling badly enough to need it. I’d gently challenge both of those thoughts. If you’re carrying more than feels manageable — even if that weight is hard to name — that’s reason enough to reach out.
