About Me

What clients carry away from working with Robin Wellington is something harder to fake than coping strategies: a clearer sense of what their nervous system has been trying to tell them, and the grounded awareness to actually act on it. Robin works with thoughtful, capable people — teenagers through older adults, men and women — who can articulate what keeps them stuck but haven’t been able to shift it. That gap between understanding and change is precisely where this work lives.

Robin’s approach is integrative, drawing on somatic therapy, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation to work with the patterns the body holds, not only those the mind can name. For many clients, that includes the cumulative weight of never truly powering down — when the habit of constant availability keeps the system in a low hum of alert that no amount of insight alone can quiet. Robin holds a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Wilderness Therapy, and carries advanced training in trauma-focused and somatic modalities alongside a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional credential.

Areas of focus include anxiety, mood and depressive disorders, trauma and abuse recovery, professional burnout, career transitions, family and relationship concerns, and spiritual questions. Online sessions are available, offering a private, flexible way to do substantive work without disrupting daily life.
