C. Wesley Jackson holds a clear conviction at the center of his work: in a relationship, no single person owns the problem, and no single person can own the solution. That shared accountability — the idea that a couple must look together at what they have built together — shapes how he approaches every session. When someone finds themselves unable to quiet their thoughts at the end of the day, still reaching for their phone, still churning through unfinished conversations, he treats that restlessness as clinically meaningful, not a personal failing.
Jackson works with couples navigating communication breakdowns, emotional distance, infidelity, and the question of whether to stay or go. He also sees individuals carrying stress, anxiety, depression, and addiction. His practice spans teenagers and young adults through the elderly, and he offers sessions online as well as in person.
He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Michigan and a postgraduate certificate in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, where he also chaired the Couple and Family Therapy Training Program for twenty-five years. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology and is licensed in Ohio and Michigan. He has maintained a full-time practice since 1973.
