Before Gina Binder ever entered a counseling office, she spent years as a discipleship counselor in Christian ministry, later raised a family, and built a career as an actuary — a path that gave her an unusually grounded understanding of how differently hardship can arrive and what it asks of people. She holds an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and is licensed in Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Working from her private practice in Manassas, Gina supports men, women, couples, and families facing anxiety, depression, eating concerns, substance use, impulse control, and the emotional aftermath of abuse, trauma, and major life changes. In marriage and couples work, she focuses on rebuilding communication, recovering trust after infidelity, and rediscovering the closeness that first brought two people together. For clients who wish it, she draws on Christian faith as a practical resource within therapy — while working equally well with those outside that tradition.
Her starting point with every client is a relationship built on genuine acceptance. From there, she helps people examine what is driving their struggles, identify their own values and strengths, and shape a path forward that actually fits who they are. Online sessions are available.
