About Me

I’m a therapist intern completing my Master of Psychotherapy at Adler Graduate Professional School. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, low self-worth, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, addictions, disordered eating, burnout, and caregiver burden. That’s a wide range β€” and the common thread is people who are ready to understand themselves more clearly and build something more workable.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuinely down-to-earth. I’m not here to fix you or point you in a direction that isn’t yours. Together we explore what’s actually getting in the way of your wellbeing, uncover the strengths already present, and develop tools you can use between sessions β€” not just in the therapy room. I draw from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Adlerian Theory, and Strengths-Based approaches, adapting everything to what feels right for you specifically. Sessions often include reflective exercises, grounding strategies, and practical methods to support self-compassion and sustained growth.

My practice is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, and culturally sensitive. I welcome honesty, warmth, and a degree of humour β€” all of it has its place in good therapy. Having navigated my own difficulties and used therapy personally, I understand concretely what it means to feel heard rather than assessed.

Outside of sessions you’ll find me with my dog, playing guitar, snowboarding, or working out the rules of a new board game. If this sounds like a fit, I offer a free 15 to 20-minute consultation to explore working together.
