Anger and Anxiety

About Me

I’m a Master of Social Work student working with children, adolescents, and adults through the challenges, transitions, and relational difficulties that make life feel hard to navigate. My approach is trauma-informed and client-centred, guided by genuine curiosity about each person’s experience and a real belief in their capacity for growth — even when that growth feels distant.

I draw on Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness practices, and supportive counselling, adapting to what actually fits the person in front of me rather than applying a fixed method. My background includes intake assessments, psychometric testing, crisis support, empathetic listening, and work in educational settings — experience that has sharpened both my clinical judgement and my appreciation for how differently people experience difficulty.

I approach each session with curiosity and genuine attention. A strong therapeutic relationship — built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect — is where the real work happens, and I invest in that from the start. I tailor sessions carefully to each person’s goals, whether they are working through anxiety, trauma, major life change, emotional regulation difficulties, or something harder to name.

My goal is to work alongside you in a way that honours your strengths, builds effective coping strategies, and helps you take meaningful steps toward the life you want — not the one you feel you should want, but the one that actually fits. I’d be glad to connect.
