“And the trouble is, if you don’t risk anything, you risk even more.”
Something feels missing — though you may not be able to name it precisely. There’s a sense of being unheard, unmotivated, or cut off from something that once gave life meaning. Deciding to reach out at all is a real act of courage, and I don’t take that lightly.
I work primarily with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples — people who are ready to move past surface-level analysis and into a deeper engagement with their own experience. The themes that tend to matter most in this work are the ones that resist easy resolution: shame and guilt, identity and belonging, community and isolation, spirituality and meaning, sexuality and purpose. These aren’t problems to be solved in a few sessions. They’re dimensions of a life that deserve genuine attention.
The particular pressures of contemporary life — the expectation of constant performance, the erosion of privacy, the difficulty of being genuinely offline — layer onto these deeper questions in ways I take seriously. Feeling disconnected from yourself often has both a long history and a very immediate context.
My approach is trauma-informed and draws on depth-oriented emotional exploration alongside evidence-based modalities. We’ll look at the coping patterns that no longer serve the life you’re trying to build, and work toward something more genuinely yours.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation to get a sense of whether we’d be a good fit. I’d be glad to hear from you.
