Do you feel caught between the person you actually are and the person others expect you to be? When you’re carrying the weight of cultural pressure, questions of identity, and self-worth — often without anyone around who fully gets it — that tension can become genuinely exhausting.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MA in Counselling Psychology student working under clinical supervision, I offer a space where all of who you are is genuinely welcome. My own path to this work began in therapy at 13, after years of bullying and isolation. As a bisexual South Asian immigrant, those early experiences shaped my deep commitment to helping others feel seen, valued, and supported — particularly BIPOC, immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ clients navigating self-esteem, racial and cultural identity, belonging, and resilience.
My approach is person-centred and collaborative. I draw from psychodynamic, CBT, and solution-focused therapies, adapting to what fits each person. Whether you’re working through intergenerational wounds, managing anxiety, or trying to make sense of complex family dynamics, the work is grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own experience.
I offer low-cost and sliding-scale options to make therapy accessible. A free 30-minute consultation is available to see if we’re a good fit.
