It can feel like everyone around you has things more sorted than you do — that you’re the one still carrying self-blame, anxious thoughts, or a persistent sense of not quite belonging. Those experiences are genuinely isolating, particularly when the people around you seem to expect you to simply move past them on a reasonable schedule.
I’m a pre-licensed professional and Expressive Arts Therapist in training working under clinical supervision. My practice integrates arts-based, somatic, relational, and mindful approaches — offering a space where you can explore what’s difficult through multiple channels, not just through words. We follow your lead and move at your pace, and everything that surfaces is welcome without judgment.
For much of my own life, as a highly sensitive person and working artist, I felt like I didn’t fit and carried real blame for that discomfort. Therapy helped me understand my experience and approach myself with considerably more gentleness. That personal history is a significant part of what draws me to supporting others in this work.
I bring twenty years of experience in the performing arts. That background has shaped my understanding of how the voice, the body, and a genuine sense of play can support grounding and a deeper, more trustworthy connection to yourself — and how creative expression can reach places that conventional talking sometimes can’t.
I offer low-cost virtual sessions including some evenings and weekends, and in-person sessions on weekday daytimes in downtown Toronto near Bay station. A free 30-minute consultation is available to connect and see if this feels right.
